Dr. Brent Nolte

Organ

Brent Nolte brings a wealth of education and experience to his role as organ instructor at the Sacred Music Institute of America. He has taught music in a variety of settings at the elementary, secondary, and collegiate levels, including a decade as a collegiate organ instructor. Brent enjoys tailoring his instructional approach to the specific needs and setting of each individual organ student.


He holds a master’s degree in organ performance from Central Michigan University and a doctorate in organ performance from the University of Minnesota, where he attended on a School of Music Fellowship. 

Nolte presents organ recitals annually throughout the region. He also composes for the organ, with partitas on "Before the Throne of God Above," "In Christ Alone," and "Northridge" available from Northwestern Publishing House, and several others forthcoming.
