Mr. Steven Nanni

Voice

Steven Nanni, tenor, is an assistant professor of music and coordinator of the vocal program for Hartwick College, Oneonta, NY, and maintains a private voice studio in New York City. He holds a bachelor’s of music from the Conservatorio di Musica “G. Verdi” di Milano, and an artists diploma from St. Cecilia academy in Rome Italy. 


Steven’s engagements include over 25 leading roles in opera and oratorio, with appearances that include Carnegie Hall, Kennedy Performing Arts Center, New York City Opera, La Scala, Florida Philharmonic, La Lirica di Venezia, Opera Company of Dublin, Ireland, and the Juilliard School.


Steven has studied privately with sopranos Montserrat Caballe and Renata Scotto, and had studied and performed under the baton of tenor Placid Domingo at the Washington National Opera.
